Meet the team
David Pritchard
David has experience of working with a variety of clients throughout his career. This includes working with new sole traders or limited company start-ups all the way through to mature and established medium-sized corporates. He enjoys engaging with clients and understanding their businesses. This facilitates a better working relationship that benefits both David and his clients. David is an ACA qualified accountant and has a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. In his spare time, David enjoys time with his children and his partner. David has a keen interest in a variety of sports, which includes watching and playing. Beware when facing him at table tennis!
Sam Thomas
Sam is an experienced accountant having originally qualified with Smith & Williamson, before going to work as a Commercial Financial Manager at Serco. He spent the past five years advising a portfolio of investments alongside Purple Lime, before becoming a fully-fledged member of the team. Outside of work, Sam enjoys walks and a variety of sports, mostly against the beautiful backdrop of Hartham Park.
Tom Taylor
Tom is ACCA qualified and has experience in working with pension scheme accounts. He is enthusiastic about the work Purple Lime do and the sense of being at the forefront of the new age of accounting. Outside of work, Tom lives an active lifestyle and is a keen sportsman. He used to play hockey with Wiltshire men’s county team. Tom has more recently discovered his love for CrossFit because it is both physically and mentally challenging.
Kirstie Williams
Kirstie is an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in practice covering statutory accounts, audit, personal tax and corporate tax. She has worked with a variety of SMEs, priding herself on building strong client relationships and passionate about fully understanding their businesses. She trained in London and has spent the last few years working with rural businesses across Wiltshire. Outside of work, Kirstie loves cooking, crafting, meals out with family and friends, walking her terrier Bucky, and playing squash.
Ruth Winter
Ruth is an ACCA qualified accountant with previous experience working in industry where she worked for a telecommunication company and later a property development company. More recently she has gained several years experience in practice mainly working with rural clients assisting with their accounts and personal tax affairs. When not at work she enjoys being outdoors walking and cycling as well as spending time with her cocker spaniel Harry.
Huw Thomas
Huw is an experienced accountant, beginning his career with a contractor accountancy and umbrella company Nasa (but not the space agency, would love to have been an astronaut), spending 12 years with this company and building a vast portfolio of clients. Post Covid and a wealth of industry changes, Huw moved to the hospitality sector for Boom Battle Bar in Cardiff where he was in charge of three businesses. Once the franchise was sold, Huw transferred and worked for XP Factory Plc where he looked after 7 sites completing monthly management packs and helping across the whole finance team when needed. Huw joined Purple Lime in December 2024. When not in work Huw is kept on his toes by his two boys, spending many Sundays on the side of a football pitch. Huw is also the treasurer for the local scout group.
Abbey Burathoki Thapa
Abbey has a thirst for learning. She’s AAT qualified and now has her eyes firmly fixed on ACCA accreditations. Since joining Purple Lime, she’s enjoyed feeding her colleagues exotic feasts while setting some mouths on fire. She is a proud Corgi mum who loves to dance, do lots for charity, and read a wide range of books including comic and manga books which help her switch off at the end of her busy days.
Dan Houston
Dan holds a degree in industrial economics from the University of Nottingham and is currently studying towards his ACA qualification. He enjoys the collaborative, client-focused culture at Purple Lime and is excited to grow alongside the business. His previous experience as a maths tutor and credit controller supports the client communication and financial problem solving aspects of his role, areas he is particularly passionate about. In his spare time he leads an active lifestyle and is a lifelong sportsman, having played football at county level, as well as rugby and has more recently taken up tennis.
Katie Fuller
Katie is an Assistant Management Accountant with a First Class degree in Accounting and is currently working towards becoming ACCA qualified. Outside of work, Katie enjoys exploring the outdoors on long walks with Bruce, her Bernese Mountain dog.
Stacey Rochester
Stacey is a graduate in Forensic Accounting from the University of South Wales. With previous experience working in industry, she aims to transfer her keen eye for detail and passion for problem-solving to her role at Purple Lime. Outside of work, she’s a dedicated volunteer with Girlguiding as both a Rainbow and Brownie Leader. Also enjoying the occasional trip to the theatre. (Who doesn’t love a musical!)
