Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant 150 150 Purple Lime

Desired Personal Characteristics

Hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated by client satisfaction and success, the person applying should be a confident communicator; backed by either a level of accounting experience or education, or the skills required to develop that. They will produce a high quality of work in a proactive manner that will deliver value to clients. They will be keen to use technology; especially cloud-based applications and possess sound Excel skills.

The successful applicant will have a keen eye for financial processes within an accounts department and not be afraid to adopt a questioning mind. They should be confident of suggesting better, more efficient ways for tasks to be done – finding solutions as opposed to focusing on problems.

Role/Package

Salary is dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications. Pension after probation, IT equipment, branded t-shirt and a quarterly social is also included! You will earn one additional holiday entitlement for each year of service, to a maximum of five days.

We are proud to be able to offer a profit-sharing arrangement to all members of staff assuming various targets are met by the business and individuals.  This is in addition to basic remuneration and will be discussed further at interview.

Other benefits available to staff will also be discussed at interview.

Experience

Experience with accountancy/finance, either in an educational setting, or a practical setting when liaising with clients/other stakeholders, is desirable, but not essential.

Most importantly, we look for individuals with a desire to pursue a career in accountancy/finance, evidence of the technical aptitude required to perform the role, and the attitude required to add value to and succeed within our team.

Training

We provide in-house training for specific applications and processes used as well as ad-hoc CPD courses.

If desired, we will offer an ACA/ACCA/CIMA pathway, or we will support on-going studies if part-qualified already, using an apprenticeship if available.
